Branding, Art Direction & Strategy

Brand identity and strategy to mark the RPA’s 20th anniversary. Founded in 1998 by former England International Damian Hopley, the RPA represents more than 1,000 professional rugby players, both past and present.

The identity focuses on unity, with the core motif connecting the typography to form a scrum and visual bond. Supported by simple graphic languages, the linear visual thread is summarised in the brands tagline ‘Fronting Up’.
